Our services

From farm design to measurable impact

We design and build Dynamic Agroforestry systems, train the people who run them, and measure what changes on the plot. One method, developed in the field in Alto Beni and applied with growers in 18 countries.

What we offer

Three services. One method.

Pick the service you need, or start with a first assessment and let the rest follow.

Field technicians planting a Dynamic Agroforestry plot
01

Project Development & Implementation

Feasibility, system design and implementation, from the first assessment to handover to a local team that no longer needs us.

  • Feasibility study and baseline of your farms or sourcing region
  • A DAF design for each crop and site
  • Implementation with lead farmers and field technicians who run their own teams

Pruning training with coffee farmers in the field
02

Capacity Building & Technical Assistance

Training and technical assistance for the people who will run the plots, taught by trainers who farm DAF themselves and followed up until soils and yields show the change.

  • Programmes in blocks of several days, spread across a season
  • Technical assistance between and after the training blocks
  • Delivered in Spanish, English and French

03

Climate Impact & Carbon Removal

Carbon measured in the field and quantified with standards-aligned methods, delivered as documentation you can take into certification, insetting or reporting.

  • Baseline and carbon stock measurement on your plots
  • PDD-level documentation, certification-ready
  • Permanence that comes from farm economics, not from contracts alone

Add-ons

Two more services that build on the same plots and the same data.

Field team checking plot data

Monitoring & EUDR Verification

Field data, farm mapping and live dashboards built for agroforestry. EUDR due diligence sits on the same data.

Advanced Research

Two long-term trials on two continents: 18 years of side-by-side data at Sara Ana in Bolivia with FiBL, and DAF against conventional plots at CRIG in Ghana.

How a project runs

One arc, from first assessment to scale.

Most partners start at step one. Some come in later, with plots already planted or a training team already in place.

Farm visit in a young agroforestry plot
Step 1 of 5 · Project Development

Assess

We start on the farms: soils, current yields, the market and who will do the work. The result is a feasibility study and a baseline of your farms or sourcing region.

Laying out a new Dynamic Agroforestry plot in an old coconut plantation
Step 2 of 5 · Project Development

Design

A DAF system for your crop, your site and your market. Each crop and each site gets its own design, down to which species go where and in which order they are planted.

Step 3 of 5 · Capacity Building & Technical Assistance

Empower

Lead farmers and technicians are trained in blocks of several days across a season and accompanied between the blocks, until they run the plots themselves.

← Design
Next: Scale →

Step 4 of 5 · Project Development

Scale

Roll-out across the region with lead farmers and field technicians who run their own teams. We step back.

Step 5 of 5 · Monitoring and Climate Impact

Monitor

Plot data, carbon and EUDR evidence, year after year. The DAF Tracker collects field data on any smartphone, offline if needed, and gives every plot a traffic-light rating.

Crops

Which crop do you work with?

Each crop has its own page: what changes in the system, what the first years look like, and where we have done it.

Cocoa pods on the tree

Cocoa

Healthier soils, higher yields and income from the first year.

Coffee

Coffee grown with nature, with pruning doing much of the work.

From our partners

In 2017, we experienced the potential of Dynamic Agroforestry (DAF) for the first time. Since then, we’ve implemented 900 ha of DAF across Ghana and Samoa, with 600 more ha planned, proving its transformative impact on sustainability, smallholder empowerment, and climate-positive agriculture.

Who we work with

Sourcing companies, cooperatives, and everyone in between.

The method stays the same. What changes is where you start and what you need from it.

Sourcing companies and brands

Regenerate a sourcing region with the farmers already in it, and get the plot data your buyers and regulators ask for.

Cooperatives and producer organisations

Technical capacity that stays inside the cooperative, with lead farmers who train their own members.

NGOs, development agencies and public programmes

Design, training and monitoring for the agroforestry component of a programme, with results you can report on.

Farms, landowners and research institutions

Design and management of your own DAF system, or a trial set up to answer a research question.

Not sure where to start?

Most projects begin with a conversation and a first assessment. Tell us about your crop, your region and what you want to change.
