The Inter-American Foundation (IAF) is an independent U.S. government agency that supports grassroots development initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean. Established in 1969, the IAF provides funding directly to community-based organizations and enterprises, fostering self-reliance and sustainable development.
Ecotop collaborates with the IAF on projects aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural practices and agroforestry systems in the region. This partnership focuses on empowering local communities by providing technical assistance, training, and resources to implement Dynamic Agroforestry (DAF) models. Through these joint efforts, Ecotop and the IAF strive to enhance food security, restore degraded landscapes, and improve the economic well-being of smallholder farmers.
