The Forest and Climate Change Programme (FORCLIME) is an initiative by the Indonesian and German governments aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry sector while improving the livelihoods of local communities in Indonesia. The program focuses on sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and the development of policies to support climate change mitigation and adaptation.

In collaboration with Ecotop, FORCLIME works on implementing Dynamic Agroforestry (DAF) systems in degraded forest areas. This partnership involves establishing demonstration plots, conducting training sessions for local farmers, and promoting sustainable land-use practices that enhance biodiversity and restore ecosystem functions. Through these joint efforts, FORCLIME and Ecotop aim to create resilient landscapes that support both environmental sustainability and community well-being.
