Alors que les monocultures ont produit des rendements de cacao 41% plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s, les syst\u00e8mes agroforestiers ont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 des revenus totaux significativement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s en raison de la vente de cultures secondaires comme les bananes et les bananes plantains. Il est important de noter que le rendement du travail - le revenu par jour de travail - \u00e9tait environ deux fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 dans les syst\u00e8mes agroforestiers que dans les monocultures. Dans les syst\u00e8mes agroforestiers, la gestion biologique et la gestion conventionnelle ont obtenu des r\u00e9sultats similaires, ce qui fait de l'agroforesterie biologique une option viable pour les petits exploitants qui recherchent des pratiques durables sans sacrifier la rentabilit\u00e9. Dans les monocultures, la gestion biologique a conduit \u00e0 des rendements de cacao 48% inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 ceux de la gestion conventionnelle, mais le rendement du travail \u00e9tait similaire en raison des co\u00fbts plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de l'agriculture conventionnelle.
