La Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) est une entreprise f\u00e9d\u00e9rale allemande sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la coop\u00e9ration internationale pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable et l'\u00e9ducation internationale. Cr\u00e9\u00e9e le 1er janvier 2011 par la fusion de trois organisations - Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), Deutscher Entwicklungsdienst (DED) et Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung (InWEnt) - la GIZ s'appuie sur plus de 50 ans d'exp\u00e9rience combin\u00e9e pour relever les d\u00e9fis mondiaux.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sente dans plus de 120 pays, la GIZ collabore avec des gouvernements, des entit\u00e9s du secteur priv\u00e9, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des institutions de recherche pour mettre en \u0153uvre des projets qui favorisent le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique, la durabilit\u00e9 environnementale, la paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Son principal commanditaire est le minist\u00e8re f\u00e9d\u00e9ral allemand de la Coop\u00e9ration \u00e9conomique et du D\u00e9veloppement (BMZ), mais elle travaille \u00e9galement avec d'autres minist\u00e8res f\u00e9d\u00e9raux, des organisations internationales et des gouvernements \u00e9trangers.<\/p>\n

Les services de la GIZ couvrent un large \u00e9ventail de domaines, notamment le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et la promotion de l'emploi, la gestion de l'\u00e9nergie et de l'environnement et la consolidation de la paix.
