El instituto se especializa en la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad, la gesti\u00f3n sostenible de la tierra y la investigaci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica, contribuyendo a avances cient\u00edficos en la restauraci\u00f3n de bosques, la agrosilvicultura y la resiliencia clim\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte de la UMSA, el Instituto de Ecolog\u00eda colabora con instituciones acad\u00e9micas, organizaciones medioambientales y comunidades locales para desarrollar soluciones de base cient\u00edfica a los acuciantes retos medioambientales.
