Creada en 2013 en Ghana, NDF se basa en a\u00f1os de esfuerzos de conservaci\u00f3n en \u00c1frica Occidental, trabajando en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con gobiernos, comunidades y socios del sector privado para promover el uso responsable de la tierra y la gesti\u00f3n forestal.<\/p>\n<p>Con un firme compromiso con la protecci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad y la gesti\u00f3n sostenible de los recursos, la NDF se centra en prevenir la deforestaci\u00f3n, mejorar las pr\u00e1cticas de comercio legal de madera y apoyar las iniciativas de conservaci\u00f3n dirigidas por las comunidades. Mediante programas de educaci\u00f3n y capacitaci\u00f3n, la fundaci\u00f3n capacita a las comunidades locales para que adopten pr\u00e1cticas ecol\u00f3gicamente responsables que mejoren tanto los medios de subsistencia como los ecosistemas.<\/p>\n<p>NDF y Ecotop colaboran para integrar sistemas agroforestales din\u00e1micos en proyectos de conservaci\u00f3n.
