Dies zeigt sich besonders deutlich in den Tropen, wo der Anbau von Marktfr\u00fcchten wie Kakao in Agroforstsystemen zunehmend genutzt wird. Unter den Agroforstsystemen haben die \u00f6kologische Bewirtschaftung, bei der auf synthetische Mittel f\u00fcr Pflanzenschutz und D\u00fcngung verzichtet wird, sowie das Konzept der Sukzessions-Agroforstwirtschaft (SA), das darauf abzielt, die Kohlenstoffspeicherung durch hohe anf\u00e4ngliche Baumbest\u00e4nde und intensiven R\u00fcckschnitt ohne externe Eingriffe zu steigern, als umweltfreundlichere Alternativen zu Monokulturen an Bedeutung gewonnen. Um die zeitliche Entwicklung der Kohlenstoffspeicherung in unterschiedlich bewirtschafteten Agroforstsystemen zu bewerten, haben wir ein 14-j\u00e4hriges Feldversuchsgel\u00e4nde in der Region Alto Beni in Bolivien erneut untersucht, um die Biomasse- und SOC-Best\u00e4nde in f\u00fcnf unterschiedlichen Kakaoanbausystemen zu quantifizieren. Das Feldversuch umfasst SA sowie \u00f6kologische und konventionelle Monokulturen (OM und CM) und Agroforstsysteme (OA und CA). Wir stellten fest, dass alle Agroforstsysteme die Kohlenstoffvorr\u00e4te in der Biomasse und im Boden erh\u00f6hten, insbesondere in der Fraktion der partikul\u00e4ren organischen Substanz. Es wurde kein signifikanter Einfluss der \u00f6kologischen Bewirtschaftungspraktiken beobachtet. Nach 14 Jahren wurde der h\u00f6chste Biomasse-Kohlenstoffgehalt im SA-System festgestellt, und die SOC-Best\u00e4nde im Oberboden stiegen in den Systemen SA und CA signifikant an.
