Landwirte, die ihre Schattenb\u00e4ume beschnitten, verzeichneten Ertragssteigerungen von 430 kg\/ha auf 710 kg\/ha trockener Kakaobohnen. Diese Verbesserung wurde auf eine bessere Bl\u00fcte und Schotenproduktion aufgrund der verbesserten Lichtverf\u00fcgbarkeit zur\u00fcckgef\u00fchrt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durch das Beschneiden konnten die Ertr\u00e4ge zwar deutlich gesteigert werden, die finanzielle Machbarkeit hing jedoch von der urspr\u00fcnglichen Produktivit\u00e4t des Betriebs ab. Betriebe mit h\u00f6heren Ausgangsertr\u00e4gen profitierten wirtschaftlich am meisten, da das zus\u00e4tzliche Einkommen aus der h\u00f6heren Kakaoproduktion die Beschneidekosten aufwiegt. Bei Betrieben mit niedrigeren Ertr\u00e4gen \u00fcberstiegen die Kosten des Beschneidens jedoch h\u00e4ufig die Einkommensgewinne.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Ergebnisse unterstreichen die Bedeutung der Bewirtschaftung von Schattenb\u00e4umen als Teil einer nachhaltigen Kakao-Agroforstwirtschaft. Der Baumschnitt steigert nicht nur die Ertr\u00e4ge, sondern verbessert auch das Gesamtgleichgewicht zwischen Produktivit\u00e4t und \u00d6kosystemleistungen wie Kohlenstoffspeicherung und Artenvielfalt. In der Studie wird eine zus\u00e4tzliche Unterst\u00fctzung durch den Kakaosektor gefordert, z.
