Der Kakaoanbau in Monokulturen f\u00fchrt h\u00e4ufig zu Problemen wie Bodendegradation, Verlust der Artenvielfalt und erh\u00f6hter Anf\u00e4lligkeit f\u00fcr Sch\u00e4dlinge, Krankheiten und den Klimawandel. Im Gegensatz dazu ahmt DAF nat\u00fcrliche W\u00e4lder nach, indem es eine Vielzahl von Pflanzen und B\u00e4umen integriert, was die Bodenfruchtbarkeit verbessert, den Sch\u00e4dlings- und Krankheitsdruck verringert, die Erosion kontrolliert und das Einkommen der Bauern diversifiziert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Forschung ergab, dass DAF-Systeme die Produktivit\u00e4t von Monokulturen nicht nur erreichen, sondern oft \u00fcbertreffen. In Versuchen waren die Gesamtertr\u00e4ge in DAF-Systemen um bis zu 161% h\u00f6her, und allein die Kakaoertr\u00e4ge waren in Agroforstsystemen im Vergleich zu Monokulturen um 12-46% h\u00f6her. Au\u00dferdem traten bei Kakao, der in DAF angebaut wurde, deutlich weniger Krankheiten wie Hexenbesen auf.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Landwirte, die DAF praktizieren, beobachteten weniger Bodenprobleme und Sch\u00e4dlingsbefall. Sie sch\u00e4tzten auch die zus\u00e4tzlichen Ernteertr\u00e4ge und die Vorteile f\u00fcr die Umwelt. Ohne Unterst\u00fctzung durch lokale Organisationen und partizipatorische Ans\u00e4tze ist die Akzeptanz der DAF jedoch begrenzt. Die Studie legt nahe, dass interaktive Methoden wie Feldschulen f\u00fcr Landwirte den Wissensaustausch verbessern und die Landwirte st\u00e4rken k\u00f6nnen.
