W\u00e4hrend Monokulturen 41% h\u00f6here Kakaoertr\u00e4ge erbrachten, erzielten Agroforstsysteme aufgrund des Verkaufs von Nebenfr\u00fcchten wie Bananen und Kochbananen deutlich h\u00f6here Gesamteinnahmen. Wichtig ist, dass der Arbeitsertrag - das Einkommen pro Arbeitstag - in Agroforstsystemen im Vergleich zu Monokulturen etwa doppelt so hoch war. In Agroforstsystemen schnitten die \u00f6kologische und die konventionelle Bewirtschaftung \u00e4hnlich gut ab, was die \u00f6kologische Agroforstwirtschaft zu einer praktikablen Option f\u00fcr Kleinbauern macht, die nachhaltige Praktiken anstreben, ohne ihre Rentabilit\u00e4t zu beeintr\u00e4chtigen. In Monokulturen f\u00fchrte die \u00f6kologische Bewirtschaftung zu 48% niedrigeren Kakaoertr\u00e4gen als die konventionelle, aber die Rentabilit\u00e4t der Arbeit war aufgrund der h\u00f6heren Kosten im konventionellen Anbau \u00e4hnlich.
