The project aims to empower local actors and farming families in the Bolivian Amazon by promoting Dynamische Agroforstwirtschaft (DAF) as a sustainable and regenerative agricultural strategy. By strengthening the knowledge and leadership of indigenous peritantes and farming families, the initiative enhances local capacities, increases agroforestry productivity, diversifies production systems, and promotes organic certification under the Participatory Guarantee System (SPG).
Develop local expertise through two cycles of training, enabling indigenous peritantes to establish and maintain agroforestry plots.
Enhance knowledge of system management and promote sustainable land-use practices.
Establish and diversify 90+ plots with at least 16 fruit and forest species.
Improve cacao yields by at least 60% through targeted pruning and plot maintenance.
Certify at least 150 farming families under the SPG certification system.
Establish 1 agroecological restaurant and 1 sales point to promote organic and locally grown products.
Two training cycles with eight modules focused on agroforestry establishment and management.
